Heavy Rain + No new DLC = Unhappy Phyonix
So, it’s been announced that Quantic Dream are indenfinately postponing the chronicles dlcs for Heavy Rain so they can concentrate on the “Move” edition. Which is basically like playing a Heavy Rain the Wii… on the PS3.
Now I have to call horseshit on this one, even from a fiscal view this seems like a bad idea. Everyone who wanted this game should already have it, and by now should have finished it at least 5 times. So instead of selling untold numbers of chronicle extras at £5-8 a pop they’ll be charging 40-odd pounds for a game that not many people are going to buy.
The move edition is going to add nothing new to the game except the way it’s played, which from playing Brawl, I can tell you, having a proper pad controller in your hands makes for better gameplay.
